Audiobot portable speaker

A portable speaker for any MP3 player, looks like a gimic but actually packs a bit of a punch.

I recently received an Audiobot speaker as a gift and I have to admit I was a little dubious as to how good it would sound or if it would even work. I plugged the usb cable into my laptop and charged the little fella up, then hooked him up my iPod and pumped up the volume! I have to say I was actually rather impressed, the colume was pretty loud and I only experienced a tiny bit of distortion when I whacked it up to full volume.

The output volume of Audiobot is 2000 milliwatts and fully charged it lasts for 4 hours, I'm a bit fan of Kidrobot toys and so for me I also think the Audiobot looks pretty cool. Audiobot comes with a 3.5mm audio cable so it will plug into the headphone jack of any portable music player.

The only downside to the Audiobot is it charges via a USB cable but you can get 3 pin mains plugs with a USB adaoptor in for a couple of quid on Amazon these days so I think I will invest in one of those pretty soon as I'm off to New York in a few weeks for a holiday and it's looking like the Audiobot might well be travelling with me!
