My Favourites on Housetohome
I developed a widget for Housetohome which allows users to save their favourite images throughout the site.
I'm currently working on the Houstohome galleries and recently created wireframes, initial designs and a fully working protoype for a widget which would allow users to create a gallery of their favourite image while browsing the site.
Making use of the YUI2 Storage facility the widget allows end users to store the details of a collection of images locally on their machine, this collection of images is then able to be updated and also emailed to a friend.
The 'my favourites' widget went live on the site a few weeks ago now and has had pretty good usage rates so far.
I have published a very basic breakdown of how I implemented YUI2 Storage in the code section of my site.
