Yesterday I was pretty wiped out after doing my 3 jumps the previous day so just had a bit of a chilled one with Bairbre, Sarah and Angela. Went for a wander round Queenstown, checked out a small market and then went to the lake and took a swim - water was freezing as the lake is glacial and apparently only ever changes temperature by 2 or 3 degrees but we went in anyway. After about 5 minutes of chattering teeth and trying to catch your breath is was rather nice! Spent most of the afternoon just chilling by the lake in the sun. That evening loads of us from the magic bus went out and it turned into a real bender! When I finally got to sleep the sun was up... ouch!

Got up today and was in a bit of a mess. Got woken up early by roomies who were leaving so I decided to have a beer for breakfast (staple diet of the traveller). In the end the whole day turned into a bit of a lazy day with myself, Bairbre and Sarah chilling out on the hammocks at the hostel. It was nice to have a relaxed day, recharge the batteries and let the wallet recover from the battering it had taken over the last few days. Bungy jumping and skydiving doesn't come cheap!
