2006 update

Sorry this post has taken a little while to put up but I'm not sure where the time seems to go.

2006 saw me arrive back in the UK from my "round the world trip" and then get back into the swing of things at home. First thing to do was to look for a jab to get back some of the funds I had blown on my adventure and so I decided to go freelancing and try a bit of contracting which proved to be a good move because since arriving back home I think I have only had about 1 month out of work! I went back to do some work at QVC, then did a bit of template design for Russell Publishing and after that I began working for IPC Media (contributing to the design and buld of websites such as Wallpaper, What's On TV and NME) where I have been since.

Some of the people I met while I was away I have managed to stay in touch with and some I haven't, some of the people I have managed to meet up with since (a big hello to Bairbre, Micheal and Sarah for that weekend in London) and some I havent (although there always seem to be plans too).

Have recently started looking into setting up my own business so I can start taking on more smaller jobs and seeing where it takes me… watch this space!!!

I'm still buying music and fast running out of room to put the stuff! Have upgaded the iPod to an 80gb monster so I can fit heaps of stuff on it now!!

Managed to get out a few times during 2006 and attended the UK B-Boy Championships (it's almost a bit of a ritual now) and Fresh Fest. I also managed to see live Jurassic 5, Dennis Rollins and Zero 7 (AGAIN!).

Met someone really special in 2006, funny how you can go all the way round the world yet sometimes your own destiny is right on your doorstep! On a random night out in September I met Melanie and we just clicked straight away, we get on like a house on fire and are both still going strong now (I don't know how she manages to put up with me sometimes, but she does). Thanks to Emma and Ada for taking me out that night and a big thank you to Melanie for coming up just to say hello and then sticking by me ever since… you are one in a million baby and truly special! ;)

Well, I guess that is all for now so until next year I'd just like to say thanks for finding my site and taking the time to read this!
